In 2012, Madison Elle Beer posted videos of herself singing cover versions of popular songs. Justin Bieber, the pop idol, discovered her cover of Etta Jam's "At Last", and shared the song with his more than 25 million followers on Twitter. The resulting media coverage led her to a record deal with Island Records and a management agreement with Bieber's manager next year. In the year that followed, Beer was also cast in a small role in the independent film Louder Than Words, which was starring David Duchovny and made its film festival premiere late in 2013. Her debut single, "Melodies", in the final quarter of 2013. The singer released her solo debut album"As She Pleases" in the year 2018. The single "Home with You", that was a hit within Norway's Top 30, and the EP's placement in the top half of the Billboard 200, reached its highest point. Beer also dropped the single "Hurts Like Hell", featuring Offset that was released the same year.
